Ms. Tomlin received her B.S. in Accounting from Radford University in 1978 and, until 2009, served on the President’s Business Advisory Council for the university from its inception. Upon graduation, Ms. Tomlin joined the staff of First Virginia Banks, Inc. In March of 1986, Ms. Tomlin was promoted to Vice President and General Auditor for the organization. She continued in that capacity until her promotion to Executive Vice President and Operations Divisions Manager in 2001.
