Special Interest Groups

Poll.jpg

The RTP chapter of AITP is taking a poll on the concept of hosting Special Interest Groups (SIG). Some AITP chapters around the country have been offering another meetup, if you will, in addition to the regular monthly chapter meeting.

These meetups are thematic based on a technology topic and would meet regularly around that specific topic. For instance, maybe a deeper, extended dive, into managing Big Data in a 60 minute session every 3 months is the SIG. Or maybe all things Artificial Intelligence that meets every month to discuss current trends and processes in a round table discussion for an hour could be a SIG.

It’s an opportunity to do a deeper dive into a topic while developing new relationships with other IT Professionals who share your same interest.
